Visualising relationships in an ecosystem

Black Thrive brings together individuals, local communities, statutory agencies and voluntary organisations to address the structural barriers that prevent Black people from thriving. Central to much of the team’s work is relationship building. Currently however, they find it a challenge to capture evidence that shows the social value and social capital that they create and support through their work. We’ll be supporting Black Thrive to visualise the ecosystem that is connected to their work, and demonstrate the social impact they bring to that ecosystem.

Team culture counts

We’ll be taking the team through the AKOU Collective Perspective. Together we will pick apart the complex concept of social capital. We’ll provide time and breathing space for individuals to reflect on their role as a connector and the unique value they contribute to Black Thrives work. We will also dig deeper into what they require from the team culture at work, and how this also plays a part in social impact.

Co-designing solutions that work

As well as a resource to demonstrate outwardly the social capital created by Black Thrive, we will be focusing on supporting the team to make use of new insights and information that arrives. Together in a series of discovery, prototyping and testing workshops we will co-design a solution that works for the whole team to continually map and measure their social capital.
